Rowton Hall Hotel and Spa

The hotel itself and the grounds are absolutely stunning, exceeding my expectations. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of options. Bed wS huge and comfortable. Spa facilities were great. Beautiful welcome plate with brownies upon arrival in our room for our anniversary.

The hotel is lovely, lots of character and set in beautiful gardens. We stayed in the master suite which was spacious, comfortable and suited our needs perfectly, with views over the garden. The spa was a lovely addition, very relaxing. We dined in the bar area, the food was great with a lovely environment. Special mention to Steve on reception who was professional and helpful, who went above and beyond to help us feel welcome during our stay. We are looking forward to returning.

We checked in to our standard room which i was slightly disappointed with, especially the bathroom which is in need of a major refurbishment. Within a few minutes we found sweets on the carpet which hadnt been cleaned up. We went to tell reception and then off to the spa for an hour. On our return the receptionist went out of her way to get us an upgrade to the master suite. The new room was beautiful, with a lounge area, a huge bed and a beautiful, modern bathroom. Our stay was immediately elevated. Breakfast was excellent the next morning as well.

My second stay here and the staff go above and beyond, the room was spacious and well-decorated, the grounds are extremely well kept with lovely outside patio spaces, the spa facilities are superb. I had a bath in my room which is quite unusual these days in a hotel. I had bar food which was very good. I like that you can choose from the fabulous restaurant menu but eat it in the bar area. I tweaked my meal with mix and match and the chef was very accommodating in this respect.

Everything. The room was great, the staff excellent and the food was really good - whether at breakfast, in the bar or restaurant the quality of the food and its cooking was superb. The facilities in the pool were perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed resting, swimming, using the steam room and sauna. It was too cold to venture out in the lovely gardens but it was a picturesque view all the same. Will happily go again.
